Oh yeah, your pit bike can blaze around the campground and out on the dunes actually with the balloon tires I'd think. The entrances are a bit rough but the sand smooths out after leaving the gate area. You wouldn't want to go much further than that. Drag racing right outside of the South Gate to be entertained by. I've been going there since being the boy scouts when we camped out there. The camels were there until the early 80's if I remember right. Some tree hugger lawyer from Tulsa came for the weekend, determined the buggy's and atv's were too loud, damaging the ears of the camels, so they were removed after a lawsuit to a refuge. You can also ride the tails beside the highway going into Waynoka to eat at the restaurants. When getting into town, one must only ride where the yellow stripes are in the road center. It takes one past gas stations, restaurants, and what little shopping there is. Its 1600 acres of trails. There is a perimeter road around the outside that is an easy ride in a ATV. Not sure about a mini bike. That would be a challenge. Good thing about it, you won't get stuck. Get off, pick up, move over and start over. Heck, I'd let you putt around on my 4 wheeler. Auto transmission. Its a cadillac ride. The three wheeler with paddle tires is my ride of choice there. I like the challenge of the big dunes.
