Oh Boy...I need some help!!!

Hey All,

Being a Scientist I'm more inclined toward scientific endeavors, this in turn leads to my lacking..or lack of concern about my proper usage of the English language.





Here is the problem: Abstract Nouns. Scroll down and please help me determine if this is the correct usage of an abstract noun. A wager with a coworker has been placed on this, so please be honest. Thanks!!

And that ladies and gentlemen is why I had a difficult time learning abstract nouns in third grade!!!

This is not proper use of an abstract noun. These usually refer more to ideas or concepts (such as justice or hatred). This would be more of a collective noun as it refers to groups consisting of more than one individual or entity.

With that all aside it fails in it's usage also because recent trends according to the news have proven that students can in fact touch their teachers in this region (and others) from time to time and vise versa.
