Oil Cap IDPA Oct 24 Saturday

Our regular 4th Saturday IDPA match will be October 24th at Oil Capital Rod & Gun Club. Set-up commences at 7:30, sign-in at 9:30 and walk-thru at 10 AM. Four of the stages will be the IDPA Postal 2009, with the two more stages, to total six, for about 125 rounds. Match fee is $12 ($10 for OCR&GC members).

To keep you apprised of the Oil Capital IDPA schedule for the balance of 2009, here it is: November 28 and December 26. Both of these are after major holidays, when you may have a new something to try out; perhaps you’ll want out of the house and into the great outdoors with the rest of us.

Recently a number of us attended the 2009 IDPA Nationals, right here in Tulsa. Kudos’s to Match Director Curt Nichols, Assistant MD Jerry Biggs and the entire 2009 Nationals match staff for a job well done. We’re primed to get ready for the next one in 2010, hopefully again in Tulsa.

Just a reminder to bring your correct, current IDPA number with you to Saturday's IDPA match at Oil Capital. For the Postal, it is essential that your info go in on a correct, current IDPA number; one that's actually yours. Not so important for monthly match purposes.

First off, thanks to all for coming. The crisp autumn weather made the day thoroughly enjoyable, that is unless you were a cardboard bad guy. Results are out via BCC email to the shooters. Some respectable scores turned into the stats shack today.

Our next two month’s matches will continue on the 4th Saturday. That will make it November 28 and December 26.
