Message: <blockquote data-quote="30BulletHoles" data-source="post: 1384459" data-attributes="member: 8041"><p>I've worked in the oilfield for 10 years.  One just has to learn not to spend every dollar they make when times are good because it will cycle from high to low.  Find a happy medium to live off of and save the rest for when it gets slow and you wont have the bank taking everything  you've financed when it was busy.  Its a damn good industry to work in and theres a lot more occupations than roughneck, contrary to what is on television.  If you want to do something that is interesting and is not a typical 9 to 5 while making good money than the oilfield is for you!!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
