Message: <blockquote data-quote="owu1bag5" data-source="post: 1384666" data-attributes="member: 1279"><p>i have been out there for exactly a year. i never see a rig though, i work for Schlumberger and i work on a frac crew. the money is great, the hours are long, the work is hard. we get a lot of down time on location, but when we work, we work our ***** off. we work a 4 on 2 off schedule right now. usually around 70 hours for those 4 days on. we used to be 7 on 2 off and back then we would work around 100 hours in a normal week. we dont make our money hourly though, we are salary plus bonuses, and our salary basically pays the taxes of what we make on our bonuses. business is really booming right now. my crew is based out of el reno, but we pretty much live in elk city and most of our work is just across the state line up around alison, tx right now. we are supposedly hiring 70 new people in the next few months just out our el reno location.</p></blockquote><p></p>
