I'm also about as pro-cop as a guy can get and I believe in giving an officer the benefit of the doubt but if severely excessive force is used the officer should be accountable. I'm old enough to recall when just arguing with a cop (even if you were right) might well get you a first class ass whipping. That's still not unheard of in some small towns or remote counties. It's mostly a thing of the past not because bad apples don't still exist but because cell phones and accountability now DO exist. As they well should.</p></blockquote><p></p>
