GLENPOOL, Okla.-- Police are looking for five men who broke into a Glenpool house and robbed a couple at gunpoint.

The couple’s home surveillance cameras captured the robbery just before 2:30 Wednesday morning. The video shows one suspect crawling through a dog door and letting the other suspects inside.

The suspects made off with several thousands of dollars in cash the couple was saving for their wedding, along with six guns and other valuables. The couple didn’t want to speak on camera, but showed us their ransacked house and shared their experience.

With reinforced doors, a home security system, three dogs and several guns in their home, the victims never thought anything like this would happen.

"They said you guys don't value your life and he said I guess we're going to kill them and they kept saying to take us to the tub," the victim said.

The thieves stole their rings and several thousand dollars in cash the couple had saved for their wedding.

Before they left, the men led the couple to the garage, locking them in the trunk of their own car.

They're not sure how long they laid there in darkness.

Glenpool police say all the suspects were wearing hoodies pulled tight over their faces. Four of the suspects were also wearing masks. Police say they confirmed all five suspects are black males in their late teens and early 20’s. There is no vehicle description.

OKLAHOMA CITY – One man was killed after an attempted home invasion in northeast Oklahoma City.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police say three suspects attempted to burglarize a home near N.E. 30th and Prospect.

A man living in the home told police he grabbed his gun when he heard people trying to break in.

“The resident armed himself, went to the door, looked out, found three suspects out there. One of them appeared to be armed,” said MSgt. Gary Knight.

Police said one of the suspects was holding a BB gun that did not have an orange tip on it, so it appeared to be a real firearm.

Shots fired during home invasion
July 13, 2016

OKLAHOMA CITY-- Two people were shot during a reported home invasion around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon.

"The caller was saying there were people inside his house. He was calling for help. While officers were responding shots were fired inside the home," Lt. Isaac Goodman, with OCPD, said.

Officers say witnesses claim there was a struggle over one of the intruder’s guns.

A resident reportedly took the gun and shots rang out.

Investigators say at least one of the people who was shot is a suspect.

"By me going past I seen a man holding his head, you know, and all these cop cars and stuff like that. The man was really hurt," Lattimore recalled. "It's scary, you know, because kids live in that house.”

Police say children were in the home when the trigger was pulled but they were not hurt.

"For something like this an invasion. Now we have to really be on our toes," Lattimore said.

Before police got to the home they say a suspect took off in a black Lexus.

Police are on the scene of a double homicide at a Tulsa home.

Sunday evening, emergency crews responded to the 2900 block of South 111th East Avenue.

When they arrived, Tulsa police said they found two bodies, one male and one female, inside. Officers said they were there for hours.

Police said one was shot multiple times, the other was shot once.

Sergeant Dave Walker said one was found in a bedroom the other was found in a hallway leading toward the bedroom.

Walker said there are some signs of forced entry and said there are also signs of a "scuffle" and that the house appears to be ransacked.

"Something happened here that is a little bit unusual than the normal murder scene," Walker said.

No names have been released at this time, but Walker said the victims look to be anywhere between late 20s to 40s.

Man Killed Answering Door; Tulsa Police Seek Shooter
Aug 21, 2016

A man was shot and killed while answering his door Sunday morning at his Tulsa apartment. Now, police are looking for the killer.

The shooting happened on private property, just steps away from Union High School.

Police say they believe a man shot a gun twice at the Somerset Apartments early Sunday morning. One of the shots hit the victim in his neck, killing him.

Sergeant Dave Walker said, "He was answering the door when he got shot."

Walker said a woman knocked on the door then a man showed up and confronted the victim.

"It's almost like it was a rouse-type thing to get those people out," he said.

The victim's roommate and a neighbor told police what they saw and heard.

Walker said, "I think what was happening is the person that is our victim realized something was happening and was trying to shut the door, so there was some altercation at the door."

Tulsa Police Investigating Four Murders Within 24 Hour-Span
Aug 22, 2016

KOTV.images.worldnow.com_images_11474781_G.jpg

Police are investigating four murders within 24 hours in the Tulsa area. They say it's a very rare occurrence and they don't know yet if the cases are connected.

The important thing to know about the murders is they are not random acts of violence, the targets were very specific. That doesn't lessen the fact that four people are dead, but should make people feel safer about being in Tulsa.

Police say the first murder is a drug debt situation.

They say a woman knocked on a door at the Somerset Apartments in order to get the men to open it; once they did, a man wearing a bandana mask shot one of the guys in the neck.

Police quickly arrested Cory Keubler.

"That case is broke because Somerset has excellent video cameras, none like I've ever seen before," said Sergeant Dave Walker.

The next murder involves two victims and happened 15 hours later.

Police found a man and woman shot to death near the master bedroom. Detectives initially can't figure out why there's blood all over the house.

"Turns out the family dog got shot three times and was running through the house," Walker explained.

They say the scene seems personal because of the overkill - the victims were shot many times, furniture was broken for no reason, and two different caliber guns were used. Plus, the woman killed is associated with the man arrested in the first murder.

Then, seven hours later, the fourth murder. This time, it's the suspect who gets killed.

Walker said, "He's a one-man crime spree."

They say he shot a woman, who will survive, stole her car, set it on fire, kicked in doors, then, kidnapped some men, drove them to a home and told them they were going to die; but they fought back, took his two guns away from him and shot him.

"Those people in that car at that time are heroes to us,” Walker said, “because that guy could've gone on."

Police will now test the guns to see if they're connected to the other scenes. Police say they are also looking into some Irish mob gangster connections as well.
