Woman Attacked And Beaten In Home Invasion Robbery Posted: Nov 08, 2010 8:15 AM CST Tulsa Police are looking for three men who robbed and beat a woman inside her apartment overnight. Around 12:30 a.m. Monday, Tulsa Police were called to the Tower Crossing Apartments at 4346 South 109th East Ave in reference to a robbery. After speaking with the female victim police learned that she had just returned from walking her dog when she was followed into her apartment by three men, one of whom was carrying a gun. Once inside, she says the men attacked and beat her before taking her wallet, cell phone and television. According to a police report, the suspects are described as three black males. One of the men was "significantly" taller than the other two and wearing a black, "out dated" leather jacket. A second man was wearing a white sweatshirt. http://www.ktul.com/Global/story.asp?S=13462664 ------------------ Police investigating three overnight robberies Published: 11/8/2010 9:21 AM A string of overnight robberies, some of which are possibly connected, have detectives busy looking for suspects, police said. One robbery involved three men who police said entered a woman's apartment and assaulted her before robbing and fleeing the residence early Monday morning. Police said the woman was out walking her dog about 12:20 a.m. in the 4300 block of South 109th East Avenue when three armed men followed her back into her home. The men hit her on the head and face before one of them rummaged through her purse and took her wallet and cell phone, police report. One man then took her television, police said. All three men were black males, and one was significantly taller than the other two and was wearing a black leather jacket described as "outdated," police said. Another man was wearing a white sweatshirt, and there was no description of the third man. Another robbery and assault involved suspect descriptions of three similar men who shot a man about 11:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of East 23rd Street. Sgt. Dave Walker said several men were in a parking lot installing a stereo in a car when three men approached and demanded cash. They took the stereo as at least one of the suspects assaulted the men in the parking lot, Walker said. As the robbers ran away, one turned and shot one of the victims in the parking lot, he said. The shot was a graze on the head that the man only realized he had after the incident, Walker said. Another robbery that had a somewhat similar suspect description happened about 10:15 p.m. in the 7400 block of East 47th Street, Walker said. Three black males about six feet tall and 180 pounds approached a man outside an apartment talking on his cell phone. Two of the men had handguns and demanded money, Walker said. They entered the apartment and stole a purse from the bedroom, he said. Anyone with any information about the home invasions and robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
