Tulsa firefighter holds burglary suspect at gunpoint outside home until police arrive Jun 23, 2015 TULSA - A Tulsa firefighter held a burglary suspect at gunpoint early Tuesday morning while waiting for police to arrive. Just after 3 a.m. officers responded to a home near 101st and Mingo. Upon arrival, officers found the victim holding the suspect, Jonathan Parker, at gunpoint in the middle of the street. The victim, who is also a member of the National Guard, told police he was asleep when he heard his alarm sound and the front door open. After grabbing a pistol, the victim made sure no one was inside, then drove north from his house looking for suspicious subjects. Police say the victim's wife called him after finding someone sitting in the driver's seat of the victim's work truck, a Tulsa Fire Department training SUV. The victim returned to his home where he found Parker inside the vehicle. Police say he confronted Parker, ordering him to the ground at gunpoint.
