[QUOTE="cowmugger, post: 1806874, member: 8696"] I support the objectives. We must advance. We can move our cause forward by simply repeating what others have done to promote a different cause. If we give our time to help somewhere, we will have REALLY helped. I guess it is community service, "disguised as community service". Open carry must be associated with more positive news reports than negative ones. There are tons of good causes we can offer to assist. If they refuse, they can be contacted again with some fund raising numbers from other events. Put their fears of open carry/2nd amendment against their desire to raise money for the cause and see if they continue to say "No" conservatives allowed. If you would rather little kids go hungry than assist with the advancing of open carry, that is fine. Just don't take food away from a food drive others orchestrate because your world view is "what goes on in my waistband is no one else's business". When a food bank refuses to take a 16ft trailer load of food because it was gathered up by a bunch of conservatives, who will look like the close minded neanderthal when it is reported in the media?
