I hunt a DMAP where have to take 40+ does annually. Some small cities have set up programs around us to do the same thing. They set up lists where folks that can’t hunt anymore or can’t get out that year an opportunity to get some protein.
We need to control the doe population. I hope everyone that deer hunts will contribute to this program.

Same here. I'm wondering if I could afford to get it cut up into manageable sized chunks.
If it was quartered, you could keep it in a cooler and work on it a little at a time.
Yea the wife only likes it ground in meatloaf so I would have to grind up the majority. I would keep the backstrap and a few steaks for when she is not home. First thing is I would have to buy a grinder.
