What about the Tulsa State fair? I prefer it to OKC even though OKC is closer. I know for a certainty that the fair grounds there are owned by the County and designated as a park but am not certain if there are gun buster signs up....frankly never paid attention.

Say you CC at the State Fair, something happens where you need to use your weappon to protect yourself...someone gets killed or hurt. What actions are taken afterward? You weren't supposed to have a weapon in the first place...you see where I'm going.

What legal prohibition was there?

No, the city annexed it so they could get their piece of the sales tax "pie".

Note the phrasing "No concealed handguns in any building"

State law says I am allowed to carry on the fairgrounds or in a park....so your scenario is based on a false premise.

This is the same reason why the Oklahoma City Zoo is a prohibited place. The zoo is owned and operated by the Oklahoma City Zoo Trust, thereby making it private property.
I carry every time I go to the zoo they don’t allow open carry but will allow concealed carry.
Now the aquarium in Jenks is no firearms allowed but if you do carry and they ask you to leave and you don’t it’s trespassing and can have you escorted out.
