Hey All,
Every morning on Channel 4, here in OKC, I keep seeing a commercial on Oklahoma "Use" Tax. Huh?? What??
Has it come down to making us pay a tax on items we buy on-line or mail order/out of state?? I know Oklahoma wants the tax they missed out on when you would buy it in state.
I could understand this on the same item bought out of state, but hey, wait a minute. What if Oklahoma doesn't have an item I want, isn't that one of the advantages....buying on-line or mail order.
EXAMPLE: Ulysse Nardin Watches, I know there isn't a store in OKC?? So, if I buy on-line-via an out of state dealer I have to pay a tax??? So, if Oklahoma doesn't offer it...I'm taxed on a "ghost" purchase?????
Here is some info:

Little help and some clarification!! Also, your thought on this!!!
