I'm just happy that we don't have personal property tax like we did in Kansas. It was crap, every August having to pay $600 in PPT. In Kansas they go by alphabetical order when your tags are due. So the same month every year, you had to pay PPT on all of your regestered vehicles. I'll gladly take $5 dollars every few years for an ugly plate over the PPT. keep in mind this is in addition to sales tax or excise tax...
