When did Roosta slip back in under the cover of darkness? I cannot find words to describe how much help Sticky provided. He was an army of 1. My volunteers did a stellar job of getting everything done. The food was outstanding and everyone may have gained a couple of pounds. We had a guide that came all the way from Wyoming to help us. She was an amazing woman who holds 5 world record bow kills. The woman surprised everyone at the Saturday night Reflection Hour by playing "Amazing Grace" on her bagpipes. She was an inspiration to all of the mothers and daughters on our hunt. She has assured us that she WILL be back next year to guide and mentor. A representative from Bass Pro Shop OKC spent most of the day Friday with us and was speechless about the OYH program and vows to be back next year to spend more time. Check out the BPS facebook account for more photos of the SE region hunt. Finally, the Director for the Texas Youth Hunting Program spend several days with us and has offered to invite youth hunters to Texas to join in their program. In addition, the TYHP has offered to provide a weekend intensive training session for our board and volunteers. We have additional ranches that we are working with in preparation for coming on line in 2015. I am very proud of all the men and women volunteers that came together, unselfishly, to make this hunt happen. God is working thru you to make this program a success. Roosta - You will be expected back at your post next year with Sticky, so that some more gnats get in your eyes ;) Respectfully, Deer Slayer
