Cattle are waterproof, no big deal
Eight-tenths of an inch here, so far!
I'd settle for half of that right now.
I had given up on it ever raining around here again, especially since my grandson just cleaned out the gutters Tuesday! In fact, I told him ... he cinched it ... it ain't gonna' rain. I was thrilled to hear thunder about 6:45 this morning. We were horribly dry.
Well I'm proud you're getting some then.
I’ll take this overcast and 87 all day though. Had to go to Guthrie and it’s 4 degrees cooler up there
Our HIGH here so far today has been 76! Low of 70. I could put up with a lot of this!
Going to have to mow again now.....
Yeah but the girls n I don't take it as good. We caught 3 pastures this morning to wean. Clara the 4yo looked like a drowned rat riding ol Russell around helping us split pairs. We got 140 head weaned, tagged and vaccinated. Yeah we got wet but it beats getting these calves blowing hot.
He proved to be a sucker for punishment!! You know how them Marines are, they just love pain and misery!! Mrs Drury just smacks him in the head every day, gives him a warm feeling in side!
