As you all know I am a fan of the old Savage 6, Stevens 87 rifles. I am wanting to get one to rebuild and give to my folks. I would give them one out of my collection but my kids have already laid claim to which ones they want as they get older. I'm on a budget so I'm not looking for a safe queen. I'm looking for a project, something that works but may have an issue or even a partzer that still has potential to be brought back to life. Or maybe it just needs refinished. I like the clones as much as the name branded ones (if not better). If anyone can help please PM me.
