yea its a little different out here. you cant just hit the river bottoms or levees to shoot.
You just need to make friends with someone with land to go spray-and-pray... We lease a few acres just for when we take the AK's out. Never know where the flyers will hit.
It would be nice to make friends still having trouble doing that...
It's hard to find a gun-nut buddy with political leanings more to the sane side of things. Keep looking, you'll make friends. Spark up a conversation at a gun shop/show/range.

good luck finding a place. looking for a current place myself to shoot binary on occasion.
I went through this dilemma as well. Wound up buying 20 acres out in the middle of nowhere just to shoot.
If I could ask what did that run you, and how hard was it to get done
