1st of all I have to thank @bigred1, he was kind enough to let me be the caretaker of this Marlin 35 Remington and @retrieverman for being the middleman 😁. I knew where a bunch of deer were bedding during the day so I stalked into the canyon where they should be, bumped them once and kept on stalking. Finally saw a few through the brush and after about ten minutes this ol gal came in from the right at about 70-75 yards. Got the 35 on her and then she was kind enough to get out of the canyon and brush on her own and I was able to drive up to her after a long walk back to the truck. Retrieverman was kind enough to offer to call either the ambulance or a Hearst for me cause I’m a little out of shape. 😁 That’s the exit, at the time I didn’t realize she was quartering that hard towards me.
