I have an SBR Scorpion that currently has a Vortex Sparc on it.
It had a night vision scope before that and a Vortex StrikeFire before that.
I shoot it suppressed so I’ve never put anything worth too much on it since accuracy with subsonic ammo and a short barrel isn’t that great to begin with.

I prefer the Sparc best of all since it’s light.
I think either of your options would be awesome.

Ok
I have a Romeo 5 on an AR build. I can say for the $149 I paid for it, it has been a fantastic little red dot. I did not expect the level of quality and finish it has for that price. I have had a salesman at a big local range tell me that they are made by holosun and rebranded for Sig, bit the Holosun owners I know have had no problems either. If you're the average guy, I think it's a good choice and will save you some $. I dont even want to look up the price on the Trijicon you mentioned. I dont like feeling financially challenged if I dontd have to.

I've never had a Sparc, but have had 2 Strikefires and they have been great products. I agree the Sparc would be the best choice for size/weight.

Maybe the ammo in Uganda sucks. My SBR shoots 147s suppressed very accurately, won the last Twlight R&G with it.

I run an Aimpoint H1 on my SBR. Yes it overkill, but got it for a decent deal.

Either of your options would be fine, I had an RMR on mine for a while.

UPDATE.

Got the SPARC and mounted it up. So far (fingers crossed) I think it will work out nicely. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet and probably wont for quite come time since I am so busy lately.

Thanks to all that posted!
