This ain't over...after previously releasing a stand-by order, the Pacific Patriots Network (western group affiliated with IIIers, Oath Keepers etc...) has now put out a call to action. They want people to rally to Burns with the intent of forcing the arrest of the shooters, the escorting of the FBI out of the state, and the resignation of the local judge and sheriff.

We'll see how many show up.
Will the summer soldiers and the sunshine patriots show up? These are the times that try some men's souls....

How old was the guy that got shot? Looked to me like he came out with his hands up, dropped the right hand once as he stumbled (shot?) then put his hands up again, then dropped his right hand to his chest area just before going down for good. Could he have been having chest pains (from a heart attack/gunshot) that made him grab at his chest? I wish there were sound on the vid. We probably will never see the ground level video...

Helo video would have not picked up ground fire sound from that distance I wouldn't think, or at least not loud enough to hear over the helo.

Yes, he could have been having chest pains. He also could have been trying to run a roadblock after having committed domestic terrorism and threatening government employees with weapons while denying them access to their place of employment.

The first will get you a visit to your doctor. The second will get you a visit to your graveyard of choice.

He is rumored to have left the gun belt and revolver at the refuge...but he was also known to carry a pistol in a shoulder rig.

Shoulder rig or lighter all the same, if cops are drawn on you and you are known to carry anything and you go to reach in your jacket in what looked like a panic/aggressive manner then you get shot.

I'd venture to say that whether or not a person is known to carry, any movement - panicked/aggressive or otherwise - could be used as a reason to shoot. Best to not move unless told to and comply unequivocally. Of course it's hard to do the right thing when given opposing directions simultaneously...

I found a vid that would let me view in full-screen mode and re-watched multiple times. I swear it looked to me like he pulled his gun out the first time his hand went down and he was shot as he tried to re-holster it the second time his hand went down. Makes me wonder if he was given directions to pull his gun out and then told to re-holster it or if he was dumb enough to pull it to let them know he was armed and then re-holstered it when he saw the police getting excited about it... Then again, maybe I'm seeing something that wasn't there in the video - kind of blurry and all.
