Well yesterday was a long ass day for the wife and I. We drove back to the city from the lake house yesterday morning. Had about 30 minutes to get dressed and over to St. Eugene's church to witness our daughter in law and son get remarried. She is becoming Catholic so they have to get married in the eyes of the church. It was only about 20 minutes and pretty informal. Then the Godparents took us around the Cathedral and grounds to show us what to expect for the rest of the evening. Being Baptist, The wife and I have never been to a ceremonial mass. Then they took us to dinner around 5pm. We had to be back at 9pm last night for the ceremonial baptism. Our DIL and grandson was baptized last night along with a number of other folks. It was a 3 hour ceremony. They had all 8 Priest on hand. It was quite an experience. We didn't home until after midnight last night and we have a full day of work today. I know, it's Easter But we have no choice. So work it is. Happy Easter everyone!!
