Every now and then, I like to expose myself as something of a fraud.... ....for instance, I've long stated that "serious, amateur photographers" have a tendency to be very observant so as to NOT miss seeing an important and interesting subject. It's kind of like being in a desert area and finally finding a cactus bloom that really gives one a vision of beauty. However, to expose the fraud here, I REALLY missed being observant on this occasion. We were living and working in Utah and had taken a drive from Kanab, Utah to Page, Arizona in a loop involving highways 89 and 89A. 89A takes one across the Navajo Bridges, of which one is a traffic bridge and the older one is strictly a pedestrian bridge. Taking a picture of Marble Canyon with one of the bridges in the picture, I missed a great opportunity at wildlife. He is over at the lower left side of the picture above. Had I noticed him at the time, I had the lenses needed to get some closer pictures of him (or her.) Sadly, I blew it!!!!
