Finally.... ....done with Texas road surveying. We finished our own region of Texas (north part) last Wednesday. Then, the office asked us to do some redo's around Childress and up in the Panhandle. Yesterday involved the drive from Paris, TX to Childress area and today was doing the Panhandle. We started out with a few records in Dalhart, then over to the Lake Merideth and Borger area, followed up by a trip up near Perryton, then back down towards Canadian and finally to McLean, TX for the last records. McLean was considered to be a problem because it was late in the day and the records ran from east to west toward the sun. If the sun is wrong, it washes out the front cameras or has too great of a glare off of the pavement. However, God earned a "high five" by sending a few clouds our way just as we got to the McLean roads. Leaving Amarillo in the morning to head home, and then we will take the van back to the office on Monday. We are SO READY for this to end this year.
