Ok so I've had my fill of plumbers and electricians and contractors telling me they can solve all my problems and then leaving me several thousand poorer and with a bigger mess than I started with ... 😡😡😡😡 I put in a couple of baseboards -- that wasn't too bad ... BUT ... The electrician and a previous plumber and contractor have all left me with holes in a living room wall, in a kitchen backsplash (around a couple of outlets and a closet (around the breaker box). Any suggestions on where to go to get a decent education on putting in patches and bedding and taping the right way. I don't mind if the closet isn't perfect (probably where I will start so I can practice) but the living room wall will need to be textured and painted and the kitchen wall will need tile eventually. Also, my baseboards are preprimed but I am gonna need to enamel them -- seems like that is what I remember my grandpa doing to the woodwork he installed. Any particular brand better than another -- and some YouTube videos on how to do that correctly would be nice. (Yes, I am ****ing pissed and on a mission now.) Thanks guys!
