It started Sunday with my neighbor having 35 of her family up to the lake to spread the ashes of her deceased husband. She needed four boats to get all of her family and I volunteered mine. She got kind of put out with me because I would not let the ashes be on my boat. It’s illegal to pour human ashes (at least that is what I have always been told) in the lake so I didn’t want to be responsible. And some of them got mad because I wouldn’t tie my boat up to the others during the ceromony. I didn’t do this for two reasons: 1. I didn’t want my boat scratched up and 2, it was windy and didn’t want to have ashes all over me or my boat. LOL!!!Now the painful part. I was reaching for my ladder behind the shop Sunday afternoon and not knowing, there was a wasp nest about 12 inches under where the ladder was. They tore me up. I got stung a number of times under my left arm and on my left shoulder. My arm is three times the normal size and is on fire. It’s a good thing I’m not allergic to wasp stings.
