Message: <blockquote data-quote="retrieverman" data-source="post: 4110002" data-attributes="member: 24452">My son and his then girlfriend now wife only came up to hunt once in October last year and have been planning to hunt the whole first week of archery season this year, but he called today and has been invited on a moose hunt to British Columbia which will eat up his vacation time.  Of course, I told him he should go on what will probably be a once in a lifetime moose hunt.  I’ll be honest though.  Had I known last week that he may not be coming to hunt this year, I probably wouldn’t have done as much work as I did.  I like to deer hunt, but I’m really starting to question if what I do and spend up there is really worth it for me to kill one buck a year. <img src="/images/smilies/headscratch.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":scratch:" title="Headscratch    :scratch:" data-shortname=":scratch:" /></blockquote>
