Evening all, Just got back from Joplin, MO for taking my Mom to her evaluation with her surgeon. Good news is that her leg is 98 percent healed and she has one more check up in 3 months. We left at 8am this morning thinking that the roads were going to be really bad. My neighborhood here in OKC was pretty icy but once we got on the Kilpatrick Turnpike it was clear all the way to just outside of Joplin. It was wet, icy and still snowing in Joplin when we got there. Still had some snow flurries when we left around 4pm. Swung by the lake house on Grand so my Mom could visit with some neighbors then back to OKC. It was a long day of just driving and sitting a lot. Glad to be back home. But the wife and I will be driving back up to Grand Lake tomorrow night for a few days. LOL! Hope you all had a great Tuesday
