I used to think that way, but being something of a photographer, one tends to notice "interesting" things that others might not notice. Back in 2002 while we were driving back from visiting family in Idaho, we were coming down a highway in Utah and I thought that we were really in a desolate place. Then we stopped at a tourist place to stretch our legs and beauty jumped out at me. In 2021, we got sent to eastern Wyoming to finish up some of our Summer work job stuff. The couple that had first been sent up there didn't like eastern Wyoming at all and was very anxious to get to leave. However, since the wife and I both are from very rural farm and ranch country, that part of Wyoming to us was interesting and beautiful.
