In the town where I grew up, we had two different railroads running through town. The Santa Fe was on the north side of town, roughly 2 or 3 blocks from the house I grew up in, and "The Katy" ran through on the south side of town. Keyes was the western terminus of The Katy line and had some way of turning around to go back. The Santa Fe's western terminus was in Boise City, which is about 18 miles west of Keyes. While working our Summer job in Denison, TX, I stumbled across this M-K-T depot. The Santa Fe "might" still have rail tracks going through town, but the M-K-T took theirs up many years ago.
