Message: <blockquote data-quote="p238shooter" data-source="post: 1861522" data-attributes="member: 24583">I would think avatars are a personal item of special interest primarily to the person who posted their avatar, to hell with what everyone else thinks, this is me.  Like your name, bill, bob, joe, who really cares?  If they thought another avatar might be better or more fitting to give a "first glance opinion" of their personality, I would guess they would change it to that.  For me, I do not have anyone here to impress by posting, other than anyone I would like to help, or share with in ways I have direct knowledge of, or an opinion.  Fortunately, we have knowledgeable people here on this board in a wide gamut of subjects who give excellent information, and others that give opinions that are mostly appreciated as that.  By the way, I see that no one has changed their avatar to something similar to mine, I guess I just like hanging out in the wind.  I guess there are no other flyers that feel like I do or there is not something similar, or they like to express themselves in another way.  Not everyone here can hang their head out the door at 32MPH and and let their scarf wave in the breeze, or feel similar in another aircraft at 160 mph.  It fits me at times I enjoy the most, others are most likely faster, but are not having more fun than I am, and there are others that keep their feet on the ground.If the WX stays too hot to fly, boat on the lake, motorcycle ride, etc, for an extended period of time, I may change my avatar to this one.[ATTACH]22993[/ATTACH]The bottom line is,  If you are not having fun, do something different.Wifey wants to take me to bed.  Good night all.</blockquote>
