It was actually 2.5 quarters, but yes, you are correct. It would have been a far different game if Hollywood hadn't been hurt and Kyler would have just played ball from the start. Into the 3rd quarter he was over analyzing the 'Bama defense, changing plays, and using every second on the play clock. He was out of sorts. That TD pass in the 2nd qtr was the Kyler we've watched all season long, except for the first Texas game when he was doing the same over analyzing and we lost. He threw that TD ball on a straight away, full-on run and it was in the air for 55 yards. Hollywood was still hurt. He could't run, couldn't catch and couldn't block. He was a liability out there tonight and that was a 1st for the season. Hated to see it. He's so fun to watch. The defense surprised me. Trey Brown played pretty well, that TD in the endzone really wasn't and that play couldn't have been covered any better by anyone. He was right there in the guys face and his arm was right between the receiver's. Motley got jucked bad once and they were lit up from the start just like I figured they would be. But they did A LOT better against the run than I thought they would until late when they were out of gas. For those saying OU didn't deserve to be there, I'd remind them that they've lost the last two years playoff games. By a total of 17 points COMBINED.
