Looking for recommendations for an outfitter for a guided elk hunt. Any state is fine. It mainly for my dad. He’s 71, had both knees replaced. Gonna need to be a fairly easy hunt, mainly accessible by ATV. We don’t have any preference points, so needs to be a place you can just buy a tag, even if it’s a private land tag. We will go wherever we need to go.
How about Porum Landing OK? It's off of lake Eufaula. The place is Dutchess Creek Ranch it's a place with several hundred acres of high fence with a couple different elk and red stag herds. Great place and amazing owners. They will help clean and process the meat also. I will post some pictures in a few of my and my daughters red stags we did.

About 5 years ago he did a lot of research and started doing the prefrence points with Typer Simms Outfitting. We ended up not doing the preference points for a couple years but i just contacted them about a week ago to see what i need to do to get back in the game to start building them up again.
My point is that if you drill into their site they have different hunts that seem to cater to those less mobile to those looking for some serious elk hunting. They are located in S/E Wyoming and seem to have a very good success rate.

@rooseveltrancher has in the past advertised a couple elk hunts on his land here in Oklahoma near Roosevelt. He didn't stack up hunters as he only listed a couple hunts to allow the highest percentage of odds. IIRC he said a lot of the area he would be able to recover the downed elk with tractor or pick up with hay bed. It might be worth a PM. Are you thinking 2021 or this year?
