To me, one of the most important factors in concealment of a handgun is the grip length. Here’s a comparison of that between my G43 and my G29. The 29 is on the right. Not much difference. I think the 29 is going to pull overwatch for my wife, my grandson, and me today when we get out and go to lunch and run a few errands. This is a great little pistol folks, I shoot it as well as anything and better than most.

Aside for my dislike of the Glock platform, I always found shooting the 29 difficult when using full power loads. My follow up shots were not what I wanted them to be. At least not like I could with my Glock 20. I carried one for several years as a backup to my Glock 20 on duty SOB or ankle. I do miss it sometimes.

Dang. I can’t imagine carrying a G29 on my ankle. I like the gun; but is is the best example of a Glock Brick I can think of. I’m curious though, if you dislike the platform in general, and found shooting this particular pistol difficult, why do you miss it? Cause BOOM! BOOM! ?

It’s a fun gun, to me, and yeah, I trust it to bring about anything south of Alaska to a full stop. The only rounds I have issue with in terms of getting back on that front sight for a follow up shot is with those semi-nuclear rocket tipped boolets from Underwood that run outta the end at something approaching 1600 FPS. They deliver almost 800 ft lbs of energy; I figure that should settle any major issue, like the bad guy wanting to beat my brains out with the butt end of his hi-point, (or like Bigred1 and his crappy 3” 1911 which we all know is doomed to utter failure) fairly quickly.
