Very nice!! I've been doing PT and the doc let me get started back on my cardio again. PLUS, he told me I could shooting my .22. I can only get about 30-35 rounds off before my shoulders fail me. (When they did the fusion it changed the curve of my neck -- like I didn't HAVE a curve, it was straight as a board, which is completely abnormal -- so muscles that are not used to working are now having to pick up the load. Did you know that for every inch your head is out of alignment with your spine it adds something like 40 pounds of weight for your neck, shoulders and upper back to deal with?? A thing you know now! Lol If I get lucky I might get to shoot my rifle maybe 2 weeks before the January RNG but I think other than that I'll be ready to go. Only thing that will keep me from the one in January will be if they have to go back in and take the plates out. They think the plates rubbing on the back of my esophagus is what's causing the swelling. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it doesn't. Time will tell. Let me just say, a liquid diet is a REALLY easy way to lose weight. I can't get enough calories down me to make my doc or my personal trainer happy, but every time I eat something with any texture at all my throat swells shut. Let me tell ya, THAT'S an adventure I'd like to avoid again. Lol ERs (no matter how helpful and nice the staff are -- they treated me REALLY REALLY well -- just aren't where I like to hang out, if I can help it. ;)
