Come back a decade later and all the "nice" stuff is 20 feet from the base and the ghetto grew out its hind end. Don't get me wrong there are still highlights in the area- Mr Spriggs BBQ, Chequers, Pelicans, akropolis, taste of thai. But all the stores that made it nice and prosperous shut down, moved, got over run etc. I won't say its got an "inner city" feel to it but more of an industrial complex feel. or like upper Michigan when the industry fell out.</p></blockquote><p></p>
