In addition, any rifle capable of firing “shot” but primarily designed to fire single projectiles will be regarded as a “rifle”.I guess the "cause lethal injury" is the test of the definition of a fire arm. You mentioned the need to deal with squirrels I am shure the squirrels will think they are lethal!
