with the 5" barrel variant, once you loctite the "too wiggly" rear sight into place. The 3" version aint bad, for its 6" OAL, but the 5" is 1.5" groups at 25 yds, from the sitting-braced firing position. The barrel removal/lockup device is sheer genius, altho a bit of a pita until you learn it. Mine was so stiff that careful use of a pair of pliers was required, with tape around the "teeth" to prevent marring of the gun's finish. Yes, most of the HP22 IS pot metal, but there's steel where steel needs to be. Plenty of youtub vids about this gun. It's ideal for attaching a sound supressor.
I have read several positive reviews of this gun as a plinker/casual target shooter. Might have to drop a bill and a half for one.
