Hello everyone, just wanted to share a recent acquisition that I made. This is my 4th SKS, but only one of two that I currently own. My main shooter is a modified mis-matched Yugo. And because I recently traded off an original Yugo for a couple of Nagant revolvers, I was getting the itch to have another original SKS. But I had my eyes set on a Russian or Romanian. Found this one when I wandered into one of my favorite local pawn shops.

It's a '51 Tula that has all matching parts (from what I can tell), but missing the bayonet.

    Here are some pictures...

Very nice find! The pictures seem like the rifle is in excellent condition. At what percentage condition would you estimate?

Those are the best! Is the stock cut for a blade or sticker bayonet? Or, is the notch a "V"?

I'm not knowledgeable on how to rate guns, but if I were to guess, I'd say around 80% overall. The left side of the stock is not as nice as the right side and there is some wear in the blueing.

I was looking around on eBay and there is complete early russian bayonet and collar for $89. I also looked around in the completed items and found some that have sold for more than $100. Also found another one that did not sell for $60. I hit up the seller and he relisted it for me. It's on its way now.

Let's hope so. I didn't want to wait too long to find one. Probably could have searched for a better deal, but on average, they're not gonna go down in price.
