Or the issues in Australia where guns were turned in and dismantled, and what guns you could keep had to be stored dismantled (bolt in one safe, gun in another, ammo in yet another). Home invasions increased exponentially (although you wouldnt know because Australia cant seem to define home invasion) and violent crime USING A GUN increased. Simple fact, criminals know victims are defenseless.
