Why not just shoot the 40? If you carry it anyhow it seems a good platform for IDPA to me. I have the same and plan on doing just that. The only difference is I have reduced power loads I plan on using for IDPA. Cant wait to get started

If you dont like the Glock grip angle, i would take a hard look at the M&P line. The M&P Pro is damn competitive right out of the box.

Yep. A lot of people shoot these...gives you a lot of Glock features in a non-Glock package.

You have a point. I guess I'm partly looking for an excuse to buy a new gun and partly looking to save some cash on ammo with the 9mm platform. I'm also hoping I shoot the 9mm a little better due to somewhat reduced recoil. I may just try the 40 to see how it does though.

Your right...over time, 9mm will be a lot cheaper.

Yeah i know the pain, im shooting a glock 21 in IDPA right now just because its what i have. Ill be picking up an M&P Pro or Glock 34 soon though.
