I really have not even looked into laser sights, I still see well enough that it seems a little much BUT I was at Wilshire the other day and a gal in the stall next to me was using one and at 10ish yards she was nailing them little black dots she stuck to her target.
I had red dot sights on my AK's but removed them for peep sights cause I feel that relying on batteries or a charger could leave you wanting in an emergency. YOMV
