I think the Big Dots are great for what their intended for. The express sight is a proven design when its a kill or be killed situation. They have been using them on dangerous game rifles for how long? 75 years?

Just because they have been used on some dangerous game rifles, doesn't mean they are the best or only option, or that it translates well to pistols.

I never said they were the only or even the best. But I do believe they are one of the best. And in my opinion they do translate to pistol perfectly. But to each his own.
