I ain't gonna lie to ya, the Glock 26/27 series is a pocket full of gun. If you are on the slim side, it's gonna show. However, I do know of one other member here who's kinda slim who also pocket carries a G27 with no issues. Maybe he'll chime in and give you his take on it as well.

It took me about a solid two weeks before it didn't drive me absolutely nuts. But it's like anything else...you overcome and adapt. :thumb:

No haven't been on the slim side since birth. It's not something I would do for edc, but I wanted to be able to have that option in the summer.

I don't have a 26 to do it with... yet, but I've pocket carried my wife's M&P 9c a few times and it's just a little bigger. The biggest problem I had with it was that I could only do it in certain pairs of pants. Not because it was too thick, but because the grip would stick out of the pocket slightly.

I've got an average build and it wasn't an issue at all being too thick, just required deep pockets. I would imagine the 26 or 27 wouldn't be a problem as long as your pants aren't real tight.

I see you finally took to that style of carry with the Glock 27 GED, it does take some time to adapt to carrying a pistol that heavy in the front pocket. I have tried a numerous pocket holsters and have found it varies on the type of pants that I am wearing on which holster that I use. Generally, I use the DeSantis Nemesis as it holds the pistol upright and remains in the pocket during the draw. I sometimes use Uncle Mikes #4 or the Galco horse hide pocket holster.

Some type of heavy duty reinforcement of the pocket can be a plus as the steel rear sights can be rough on pockets. With all that said, if I am carrying in the pocket it is almost always a second gun and prefer it to ankle carry.

I pocket carried a G27 for years as a bug to my G23. I carried in a Kytac Pocket-Lock-it. In my opinion the best pocket holster out there. Yes it is a bit bulky but you will get used to it.

Nemisis works will with a XD40S and LC9. Have tried the G26, but will not work in my smaller holster.

I tried carrying a G26\27 in the front pocket and never made it out the door with it. Just didn't feel right and I was afraid it was obvious.
