Ruger LCR .357 in #4 Uncle Mike's pocket holster. Pocket carry often in jeans/shorts in summer, but OWB the LCR or Model 29 Combat Magnum 2 3/4 .44 in jacket weather.

Believe it or not, yesterday, I pocket carried my 4" model 681 in my front pants pocket. I was somewhat surprised that it worked out rather well.

LIke I said, I was a bit surprised that I was able to do it. The better half and I went to Appleby's in Enid then on to WallyWorld and no one seemed to notice it.

When wearing Carhartt overalls, the J-frame goes straight in the bib pocket, no holster. Rides nicely with grips peaking out for quick access.

@perfor8, Peeking out of the pocket? Really? That's not really very secure is it? I'm not dissing your method, it's all up to you, but personally, I can't see me doing that.

I don't like carrying much in my pockets to be honest. These days I mostly carry a G42 in an ankle holster. Hands down my favorite way to carry.

How much heavier is the G43?
