some Edelbrock heads I am working over.
This one needs to see a flow bench it is done enough for now.
Looks a lot better now than when they were pulled out of the box.. not that they looked bad but their idea of port match and blend left a lot to be desired.

Sounds and looks better than regearing axles like I've been piddling with for the last week in my spare time, which is little to none lol.

I just stuck 4.56 gears in my 57 chevy but it is a 9" ford.. easy deal.
I have a race with a 2015 mustang soon and his is boosted more and 6 speed . no boost in my 57 but i will hole shot him by quite a bit..make him play catchup.
These heads are for the Mustang owner for his Chevy truck. I also had a cam ground for his truck a 280H comp magnum on a 106LSA. Pretty sure I had it on a 106.

Should make the old truck run quite well with his TH350 and 3000 stall with 4.11 gears.

Some before pictures of the edelbrock heads.
The turn at the pushrod was very triangular .. I blended it more rounded and finished the runners with 40 grit cartridge roll i made from some used DA paper

106 LSA? I'm thinking that should be pretty strong on the low end torque?

That is the idea the earlier closing of the intake valve will build more cylinder pressure and help the low compression engine make power Low as in under 10.5 compression. Yea I am not afraid of compression.

But the duration should carry the power on up as will the overlap.
Need all we can get to get the heavy truck out of the hole.

He came to me with a TURD of a truck 210 or 200 cc china heads and a comp magnum 305H cam.
That cam does not have any of the advance ground into it and was installed at 110 intake centerline.
It was a turd everywhere and would be lucky to run 20's in the 1/4 mile with his 2.75 gear.
His total timing was a 22 degrees when I first got my hands on it. the PCV and power brakes were T together.. this was a mess of a set up under the hood of his truck.
Sounder really mean though pulling 5.5" of vacuum.
Edelbrock 750 metering rods and power piston would not pull down at idle. just a huge mess.
This thing will be a beast compared to what he had.
