I think her brother lives in New York City and had not been to Hawaii in years. By the time I learned she had passed, her home was listed as sale pending on Zillow for $1.8 M and had been cleaned out. They are/were Chinese  immigrants. She was a childless former housekeeper/nanny who married my long-deceased Army friend after his 1st wife and at least one child died in an automobile accident. None of her husband’s family, including the children she raised, who all live on the mainland, had visited her in many years.</p></blockquote><p></p>
