My normallly reliable old Interarms PPK/s has suddenly developed an issue with the hammer not staying back after a shot so subsequent shots are SA...occasionally; maybe every 8th or 10th round, the hammer would not stay locked back in SA mode, but the gun would function fine with the next shot having to be fired DA (or else I could thumb the hammer back). I used both the stock 20 lb recoil spring and a reduced power 17 lb spring. Used Fiocchi 95 gr FMJ, WWB 95 gr FMJ, and Remington 95 Gr FMJ: same problem with all ammo types. What do ya'll think?
