Update. Here's part of the body text the father of the girl sent. "So for the update When she was brought to the ER in Bristow, her red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin were at critically low levels, levels that very few could survive at. As a result her body was not getting the oxygen it needed. She was intubated, heart meds, and sedated. She does have pneumonia. They have given her blood and platelet transfusions, her levels are now coming up, they have risen enough that a bone marrow biopsy was done this morning, we should see the results this afternoon. We believe her kidneys are performing good; her Liver might have some damage, but they believe it will take care of itself. Her heart results will be back later today, they think it is enlarged, but wont know until later. They are easing her off the sedation and she is slightly responsive, but they want her resting; the doctor says this is a good sign that her brain is functioning well. We wont no for sure how everything is until they remove her from all of the drugs and breathing machine. The hope to be done with this tomorrow. As for the future, she will most likely (99.9%) have to have a bone marrow transplant. Please continue to pray, and we thank all of you for your support." Thanks again for the support!
