I've had some success this winter in Oklahoma. Hunted in Colorado last month but struck out. Same with Texas so far. I doubt I'll be back to Colorado but I'm going to give Kansas and New Mexico a try later this month. #1 Early morning coyote in Oklahoma panhandle by some Wind turbines. Took 19 minutes to get him killed. Male, solo. 150 yards. #2 Early morning coyote in Oklahoma panhandle around some cattle. 3 minutes, small male, solo. 47 yards. #3 Late morning coyote, same day as #2. In CRP. Called in six on this stand. Missed one and two came back, got this big male. About 20 minutes on stand. 35 yards. Meandered by, blew a mouth call to stop him. 183 yards. Female, solo.
